About the Role


As a Analytics Manager at PayPal, you will collect, clean, and analyse large datasets to support business decision-making while contributing to the team's objectives and broader company goals.


PayPal is based in Berlin, and this role offers remote flexibility. You will have the opportunity to work from home or any location with a reliable internet connection, while staying connected with your team through regular video calls and collaboration tools.



About the Team


You will join a team of 18 professionals working on data analyst projects. The team collaborates with cross-functional partners to deliver projects on time and maintain high standards of work.



Key Responsibilities


  • Collect, clean, and analyse large datasets to support business decision-making
  • Build dashboards and visualisations using BI tools (Looker, Tableau, or Power BI)
  • Write SQL queries to extract and transform data from multiple sources
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders across the organisation
  • Design and run A/B tests to measure the impact of product or business changes
  • Collaborate with data engineers to improve data quality and accessibility


Requirements


  • Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating data
  • Experience with data visualisation tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
  • Working knowledge of Python or R for data analysis
  • Understanding of statistical methods and hypothesis testing
  • Strong analytical thinking and business acumen
