About the Role

As a Financial Analyst at Airbnb, you will focus on and analyse financial statements, budgets, and forecasts while contributing to the team's objectives and broader company goals.

Airbnb is based in San Jose, California, United States, and this role follows a hybrid work model with the flexibility to work remotely several days per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
• Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to leadership
• Manage accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger operations
• Support audit processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Develop financial models to evaluate business opportunities and risks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial planning and strategy

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• Professional certification (CPA, CFA, or ACCA) preferred
• Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modelling
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite)
• Understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS)
• Excellent analytical and attention-to-detail skills
