About the Role

As a Platform Engineer at Nike - Cloud at Nike, you will design and maintain cloud infrastructure using infrastructure as code (terraform, cloudformation) while contributing to the team's objectives and broader company goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
• Monitor system performance, reliability, and cost optimisation
• Manage container orchestration with Kubernetes and Docker
• Implement security best practices and compliance controls
• Respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, and drive improvements

Requirements

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and infrastructure automation
• Proficiency in containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or Go)
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
• Understanding of networking, security, and identity management
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions)
